pavilionWELCOME TO THE PAVILION

Imagine a moonlit summer night, wandering amidst beautifully manicured gardens, illuminated throughout under up lit old Sugar Maples.  You're chatting with a friend and toast the occasion as you walk into a pavilion under a chandelier of lights.  The Distinctive Gardens pavilion has been a place for gathering from marriage vows to good time reunions.  It sets the stage to create memories.

PAVILION HISTORY

The Pavilion was first a dream,

later realized by close friends

who literally built it

on the property

for their son's wedding.

It was crafted in the spirit

of bringing people together,

and has done just that.

It was built in the summer of 2008

by Tom Prendergast,

Julie Deutsch,

Bill Wolfe,

Kevin Spratt,

Bud, and

Craig and Joan Melzer.

Tom and Julie proposed

the idea to us

back in the spring of 2008

so they could have a wedding

out at our place

for their son Tim.

Craig and Joan Melzer

brought to the project

their construction skills,

good cheer

and a beer or two.

If you ever need anything

done,

figured out,

rigged

or any other such

construction,

Joan is your girl.

For those of you

who have visited

the pavilion

and have seen

the fabric panel back drop,

that's Joan's doings.

We're so glad

they came up

with such a great idea

and had the

know-how to do it.
